Roderick "RJ" Stevenson leads day-to-day campaign strategy and operations, coordinating the team, campaign priorities, and execution across District 24. With a background in community leadership and business development, RJ brings a disciplined approach to organizing, fundraising, scheduling, and accountability. Known for building high-performing teams, and turning strategy into action, RJ is focused on delivering a campaign that earns trust one conversation at a time.

The Field Director leads the field program—canvassing, volunteer recruitment, staging locations, and voter contact goals in Robeson, Hoke, and Scotland Counties. With experience in organizing, advocacy, or electoral campaigns, the Field Director is passionate about community-based organizing and building local teams that reflect the district’s strength and diversity.
The Volunteer Coordinator recruits, trains, and supports volunteers across District 24. From canvass shifts to phone banks to event teams, the Volunteer Coordinator makes it easy for supporters to find their lane and make an impact—while building a strong, welcoming culture that keeps volunteers engaged and growing.
The Finance Director manages campaign finance compliance, fundraising strategy support, donor tracking, and reporting. With a commitment to transparency and accuracy, the Finance Director supports the fundraising operation that fuels voter outreach and powers a winning coalition across District 24.
The Communications Director manages campaign messaging, press relations, digital communications, and rapid response. The Communications Director helps shape the narrative of Catina’s candidacy through storytelling that is clear, accurate, and locally grounded—amplifying what voters care about and keeping supporters informed and energized.

Field Organizer (Robeson / Hoke / Scotland) — Multiple Openings
Role Summary: Field Organizers build and manage volunteer-driven voter contact programs within assigned turf. You’ll recruit volunteers, run canvasses/phone banks, support events, and help deliver weekly voter contact goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
Lead canvass launches and phone bank shifts
Track voter contact goals and report results
Support community events and visibility actions
Build relationships with local organizations and leaders
Preferred Qualifications
Strong people skills, dependable, organized
Comfort with evenings/weekends and local travel
Campaign/organizing experience a plus (not required)
Digital & Social Media Manager
Role Summary: Own day-to-day digital execution across platforms—content scheduling, community engagement, analytics, and rapid response—while keeping the campaign voice consistent and compelling.
Key Responsibilities
Publish social content (planned + reactive)
Capture and repurpose photos/videos from the field
Write posts, emails, short website updates as needed
Monitor comments/DMs and escalate issues appropriately
Track performance metrics and optimize content
Preferred Qualifications
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Comfortable with Canva/Adobe tools (or similar)
Experience managing political/nonprofit accounts preferred
Content Producer (Photo/Video) — Contract/Part-Time
Role Summary: Capture and deliver high-quality content that tells the story of the campaign—field moments, events, and short-form video that drives engagement and trust.
Key Responsibilities
Film and photograph events, canvasses, community moments
Create short edits for social (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
Maintain an organized media library for campaign use
Deliver files quickly and consistently

Scheduler & Advance Assistant
Role Summary: Support Catina’s daily schedule and event preparation so every appearance is productive, prepared, and on-message.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate event details and confirmations
Maintain run-of-show notes and briefing sheets
Track travel logistics and timing
Support volunteer/staff coordination for advance needs

Campaign Operations Coordinator
Role Summary: Ensure internal systems run smoothly—office operations, supplies, staging materials, volunteer resources, and basic reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage materials for canvassing/events
Support databases, forms, and internal reporting
Assist with office logistics and purchasing tracking
Coordinate with team leads on operational needs
Preferred Qualifications
Detail-oriented, reliable, resourceful
Experience in admin/project coordination helpful
Call Time Manager / Fundraising Support
Role Summary: Support Catina’s fundraising operation by scheduling donor call time, preparing call sheets, tracking follow-up, and ensuring the finance team has what it needs.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and protect fundraising call blocks
Prepare donor lists and briefing notes
Track outcomes and next steps
Coordinate follow-up tasks with finance
Preferred Qualifications
Discreet, organized, comfortable with spreadsheets
Prior campaign fundraising support helpful
Communications & Press Assistant — Part-Time/Contract
Role Summary: Support press outreach, write drafts, assemble press clips, and assist with messaging distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Draft press releases, advisories, and statements
Maintain press list and track outreach
Clip media coverage and build weekly recap
Support rapid response and event press coordination
Preferred Qualifications
Strong writing and editing skills
Knowledge of local media landscape a plus
Internship / Fellowship (Field, Digital, Comms, Ops)
Role Summary: A structured learning opportunity for students and emerging professionals to gain hands-on campaign experience while supporting critical campaign functions.
